After seven years away, Agalloch are back on stage, though only for selected concerts. Between 1995 and 2016, the band from Portland, Oregon, released five albums that mixed black metal with folk and post-rock, and many fans still count «The Mantle» among the best records the genre has produced. Nature has always been at the heart of their music, and that carries over to their shows, with wood and incense on stage and long, slowly building songs. Founding members John Haughm, Don Anderson and Jason William Walton are all part of the reunion. If you’ve never seen them live, this is your chance.
